AKME ATEX / IECEx Servo Motors for Hazardous Areas

The AKME servo motors with ATEX / IECEx certification for use in Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust) hazardous areas are part of the AKM family of brushless servo motors from Kollmorgen. Thanks to additional design features, these servo motors can be used in a wide range of HazLoc applications where explosive gases or combustible dusts may occasionally be present. Typical applications range from pharmaceutical production and food processing to grain silos in agriculture.

  • Continuous torque from 0.37 Nm to 50.4 Nm
  • Various encoder options: SFD-M, Hiperface DSL, resolver, Comcoder, EnDat 2.2, and BiSS B

  • Compatible with AKD, AKD2G, and Kollmorgen Essentials™ (KED)
