TORQUE LIMITING SLIPPING CLUTCHES / SAFETY CLUTCHES

Slip clutches are passive components that reduce the inertia-related shock load during fast coupling processes of coupling elements by transmitting a defined and constant torque. In this way, the coupling is protected and its service life of the coupling components is extended. They can also be used as overload protection when component safety is important. They are characterized by a long service life and very good repeatability despite their small size.

The special features of the torque limiting slip clutches are:

  • highly dynamic
  • torques from 0.1Nm to 7.5Nm
  • 4 versions
  • compact design
  • no adjustment necessary
